This month, wellness to me has been about focusing on what I have gained rather than how far I have to go. I’ve been challenging my own thoughts to change my perspective, and how I am viewing certain situations. It’s important, as I believe the only place you truly live is within your perspective of the world.
You could have two individuals living the EXACT same life, and both could perceive their world to be two completely different things. I believe we plant our own seeds of doubt, as well as our own seeds of optimism, dreams, and hope.
I hope by sharing this, it helps some of you think about your own inner voice, and what world you are growing in your own mind.
I have a lot of work to do in this area. As a high achiever and a dreamer, I sometimes live in my visions that are not yet true. It can feel incredibly frustating when I have so far to go, but my dream garden is growing as we speak. Its just a matter of patience, focussing on what I have done so far, and taking small achievable steps every day to get there.
Remember: the growing takes longer than the harvest, and the better the environment while growing, the better the harvest. Be kind to yourself.
